Glenn and Joe, rockin’ out!

My latest project has been compiling random screenshots of Don’s music videos to showcase his disinterested looks.  I don’t know what it is, but he always looks like he’s so fed up with doing music videos.  So… stay tuned for that.

Eagles c. 1974 - up against the wall.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the Eagles come back to play Minneapolis, or somewhere close to me in the near future, so I can see them at least once. This is what I get for becoming a huge fan right after they play anywhere near me! Lol.

Take It Easy

The streets of LA were pulsating with life and lights as the Eagles walked down the street to Tana’s. Their conversation was lively as always, and filled with hopes of finding a plethora of females.

"They always flock to you, Roach," Randy commented to Glenn, "Singing lead parts must really attract ‘em."

"Yeah, I do okay," Glenn agreed, smiling.

A vehicle sped past, filled with the women they were hoping for. One rolled down the window and began to shout.

"GLEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNN!"

Glenn looked to the rest of his bandmates and shrugged.

"Can you introduce us to your friends?" Henley chuckled.

This is cool! Glenn Frey and the song "That Girl."

That Girl

Bright headlights slid past the moon as the rain worked in cadence with the windshield wipers.

I’m no good for her, Glenn thought.

He reached for a cigarette, flipping it between his fingertips in a nervous habit. He had broken another promise to her: quitting smoking. She didn’t deserve broken promises, yet he still had so much to reveal, including how much he truly loved her.

He promised himself that he wouldn’t call, but a payphone along the highway beckoned. He flinched between each ring she didn’t pick up.

"Hello?"

"This is Glenn…"

Some promises weren’t worth keeping after all.

I got this version from YouTube with the banjo introduction and it’s justtttt perfect.

:D so had to share

I don’t have my laptop with me right now, where all the requested drabbles I wrote are saved, so the fanfic party shall resume later this weekend. :)

How about Glenn just chillin’ in a car trunk for Freyday? :)

very rare photo of glenn frey and don henley

Even though they’re no longer together, how cute are Stevie Nicks and Don Henley??? I also find it pretty awesome that they still collaborated on music, even after their breakup, and they still are friends to this day.

I'm going to go double Glenn with this one: The Heat is On, and Glenn

Haha, hope you enjoy this!  My inspiration obviously came from Glenn’s story about riding shotgun with a drug-dealer.

The cherry-red Corvette roared down the freeway at an alarming speed, and Glenn could feel his stomach churning. It must have been 100 degrees inside the car, and he had a strong feeling that the cops were tailing them, paranoia or not.

“Hey, man. What are you doing?” he asked in alarm.

“Life in the fast lane, man,” he replied with a sideways smirk.

“Oh-kay. Can I at least roll down the window? It’s getting a little warm…”

“Sure. This damn engine keeps overheating!”

Glenn shot a sideways glance at the speedometer, where the needle was now ticking past 100.
